Remerciements
I would like to warmly thank both the organisers for considering that I could make a contribution to this conference, especially Jan Driessen who made personal sacrifices to enable me to deliver my paper. A Glassman Holland Research Fellowship from the Albright Institute of Archaeology in Jerusalem (2012-13) and a Fellowship of the Center for Hellenic Studies, Harvard University (2015-16) also supported me in developing research relevant to this subject.
