1A second, 5-year excavation program on the Bouphos or Kephali ton Agiou Antoniou at Sissi under the auspices of the Belgian School at Athens was initiated in 2015. This volume presents some of the preliminary results1 of the two campaigns (the 6th and the 7th) that took place between June 29th and August 7th, 2015, and between June 27th and August 5th, 2016. It is always my pleasure to thank the Hellenic Ministry of Culture and Sports as well as Mrs. C. Sophianou, Mrs. V. Zographaki and Mrs. K. Zervaki of the Archaeological Service of East Crete (EFALAS – nomos Lasithiou) for their help and assistance. We also thank Mrs. V. Sitiakaki of the Archaeological Service of Central Crete (nomos Irakliou) for allowing us to do post-excavation processing at the French School at Malia in 2015 and for facilitating the move of our finds in 2016 to our new storage hub near Agios Nikolaos.
